Beginnings in the Mountains
It all started in 2000, when Jean-Benoit Pugin joined the ski lift team at La Plagne as a lift operator. Working in this unique environment not only allowed him to immerse himself in the atmosphere of the ski resorts, which he had known since childhood, but also to develop a keen sense of service and safety for visitors. The mountains have always been his playground and workplace, a place where he truly feels at home.
A New Adventure: Taxi Driving
In 2007, a new adventure began. On his days off, he worked as a taxi driver for a small local company, initially as a way to supplement his income. He quickly discovered a passion for transportation, and the winding roads of Savoie became his new domain. The connection with clients, warm conversations, and the satisfaction of safely driving them to their destination became the joys fueling this new calling.
Transition to Rescue Operations
Always eager for new challenges, he became a ski patroller and avalanche control expert in 2009. This new role put him on the front lines, ensuring skier safety and developing valuable expertise in safety and avalanche prevention. His commitment and dedication to the well-being of others made him a well-known figure in the local community.
The Creation of JB TAXI
Ten years later, in 2017, he took a bold step and acquired his first taxi license, thus founding JB TAXI. This business reflects his commitment, passion for service, and deep knowledge of the region. Until 2021, he continued to juggle his role as a ski patroller with running JB TAXI. However, driven by a clear vision of the future, he decided to dedicate himself entirely to his business. This decision marked a turning point. JB TAXI expanded, adding coach services to meet growing demand.
